I know there is a point in time when you are suppose to outgrow slumber parties, but Johnny and Bryan went on a "boy's trip" this weekend so Amy and I lived it up. Our main goal for the weekend was to be as lazy as possible and to be in our pajamas as long as we could. Amy actually suggested us coming home from work to watch Saved by the Bell so it would resemble the past...Here is how it went....
Friday night: We ate sushi for dinner, went to my house, put pajamas on and watched the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy I had recorded and Say Yes to the Dress. We then read our books until we could no longer hold our eyes open.
Saturday: Chick Fil A for breakfast, watched part of the Ole Miss/Florida game (enough to see Houston out of his element running a fake punt) temporarily got dressed to go watch Nights in Rodanthe, went back to my house and put pajamas back on. Watched part of the Texas game and part of the Tennessee/Auburn game. Got Mexican takeout for dinner. Watched the Sex in the City movie, The Bodyguard, What Not to Wear (Raccoon Tail), and 4 episodes of Say Yes to the Dress. Then ran to Neighborhood Market to get some cookies to complete our night.
Sunday: We actually got dressed and ventured out of the house today. We had our Mexican leftovers for breakfast..yummy..We went to Pinnacle Hills Promenade to shop and eat Texas Land and Cattle and then went to bridal fair to get Amy's wedding planning going! We wandered around bridal fair, then quickly went back to my house to finish our weekend off right. Lying around digging through the endless brochures Amy got at bridal fair.
It has been great, almost too good to be true. We may not be able to fit into our clothes tomorrow, but are already working on sending the boys somewhere else so we can start all over again!
